To provide a constitution for shortening a route in which dust is discharged from a dust separation device and taken into a ventilator, and reducing a pressure loss while achieving size reduction and weight reduction, in the dust separation device which is connected to a ventilator installed below a floor of a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: A dust separation device 20 comprises a suction part 30, an outer cylinder part 40 and an inner cylinder part 50. The suction part 30 has a suction port for sucking air at the outside of a vehicle, and swirls air which is sucked from the suction port. The outer cylinder part 40 is formed into a cylindrical shape, and arranged so that an axial direction coincides with a horizontal direction, guides air which is swirled by the suction part 30, and progresses toward one side in the axial direction at an internal peripheral face, and has a separation port for discharging the dust included in the air at a peripheral face. The inner cylinder part 50 is formed into a cylindrical shape, coaxial with the outer cylinder part 40, arranged inside the outer cylinder part 40 in a radial direction, and guides air passing the outer cylinder part 40, separated in the dust, and progressing toward a connection opening part at an internal peripheral face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】鉄道車両の床下に配置される換気装置に接続される塵埃分離装置において、塵埃分離装置から排出されて換気装置に取り込まれるまでの経路を少なくし、小型軽量化を実現しつつ圧力損失を低減する構成を提供する。【解決手段】塵埃分離装置20は、吸込み部30と、外筒部40と、内筒部50と、を備える。吸込み部30は、車外の空気を吸い込む吸込み口を有し、当該吸込み口から吸い込んだ空気を旋回させる。外筒部40は、筒状であって軸方向が水平方向に一致するように配置され、吸込み部30により旋回させられて軸方向の一側へ進む空気を内周面でガイドするとともに、空気に含まれる塵埃を排出する分離口が周面に形成されている。内筒部50は、筒状であって外筒部40と同軸であり、かつ外筒部40の径方向内側に配置され、外筒部40を通過して塵埃が分離されて接続開口部へ向かう空気を内周面でガイドする。【選択図】図2
