To calculate a charging fee which reduces unfairness for each vehicle without loading a watthour meter.SOLUTION: A vehicle charger for charging a vehicle comprises: current measuring means for measuring charging current; detection means capable of detecting that the charging current has exceeded a set first threshold value and that it has become lower than the value; time-measuring means which measures a first time being a time from detecting that the charging current has exceeded the first threshold value to detecting that it has become lower than the first threshold value; and a control device which utilizes a maximum value of the charging current measured by the current measuring means and the first time measured by the time-measuring means, for calculating a charging fee.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
