To provide a four-point type seat belt device that detects a seated state of an occupant from an amount of pulled belt in order to make the seated state of the occupant appropriate.SOLUTION: On the basis of an amount of pulled seat belt, which changes according to a seated state of an occupant 42 after the occupant 42 is seated in a vehicle seat 12 and the buckle device 50 of the seat belt and a tongue plate 46 are coupled, a vehicle ECU 82 detects a seated state of the occupant. In a case where a state in which the amount of pulled seat belt larger than a permissible value continues for a predetermined time or longer, the vehicle ECU 82 controls seat belt retractors 22, 24 so as to wind the seat belt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
