To provide a track short-circuit unit capable of short-circuiting only a track circuit for detecting trains without adversely affecting the railroad crossing control even thought it has an extremely simple and inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: A track short-circuit unit 1 includes a conductive cord 2 with a predetermined length, a first rail connection terminal 3 provided on one end of the conductive cord, and a second rail connection terminal 4 provided on the other end of the conductive cord. A track short-circuiting element 5 having a predetermined inductance is provided on the conductive cord 2. When the first rail connection terminal 3 and the second rail connection terminal 4 are connected to rails 7a, 7b through which a train detection signal A that is a low frequency signal and a railroad crossing controller signal B that is a high frequency signal are superposed with each other and flow, the track short-circuiting element 5 makes the high-frequency railroad crossing controller signal B hardly flow into the conductive cord 2 from the rail 7a due to a frequency characteristic of impedance while the track short-circuiting element makes the low-frequency train detection signal A flow into the conductive cord 2 such that the track circuit is short-circuited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】 きわめて簡素でかつ安価な構成ながらも、踏切制御に影響を与えることなく列車検知のための軌道回路のみを短絡することのできる軌道短絡器を提供する。【解決手段】 軌道短絡器1は、所定長さの導通コード2と、この導通コードの一端に設けられた第1のレール接続端子3と、導通コードの他端に設けられた第2のレール接続端子4と、を備え、導通コード2に、所定のインダクタンスを有する軌道短絡素子5が設けられている。軌道短絡素子5は、第1のレール接続端子3と第2のレール接続端子4を、低周波信号である列車検知信号Aと高周波信号である踏切制御子信号Bとが重畳して流れるレール7a,7bに接続したとき、インピーダンスの周波数特性により、高周波の踏切制御子信号Bをレール7aから導通コード2へ流し難くする一方、低周波の列車検知信号Aを導通コード2に流して軌道回路を短絡するように構成されている。【選択図】 図3
