To provide a driving force control device for a hybrid vehicle, capable of suppressing an increase in the fluctuation range of the driving force of the whole of the vehicle due to the starting of an engine and the shifting of a transmission mechanism.SOLUTION: In a driving force control device for a hybrid vehicle comprising an engine connected to the front wheels of the vehicle so as to enable torque transmission, a first rotary machine connected to the rear wheels thereof so as to enable torque transmission, and a transmission mechanism capable of changing the ratio of the number of rotations between the first rotary machine and the rear wheels, there is provided a controller for controlling the engine and the transmission mechanism. During the execution of one of control for staring the engine and control for changing the gear ratio of the transmission mechanism (affirmative determination in Step S1), the controller restricts the execution of the other of the control for staring the engine and the control for changing the gear ratio of the transmission mechanism (Step S3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
