To provide a sound absorbing material which has high sound absorption property in a wide region of a low frequency to a middle frequency and has a high sound absorbing effect with a low basis weight, and is thin and lightweight.SOLUTION: A composite sound absorbing material is formed by joining a non-woven fabric surface material including at least one melt-blow ultrafine fiber layer having an average fiber diameter of 0.3-7 μm and a basis weight of 1-40 g/mwith a continuous cell resin foam layer, where a thickness of the composite sound absorbing material is 5-50 mm and a basis weight thereof is 50 or more and less than 475 g/m, and any sound absorption coefficient of the composite sound absorbing material at frequencies of a sound incident from the non-woven fabric surface material side by a measurement method of vertical incidence according to JIS-1405 of 1,000 Hz, 1,600 Hz, 2,000 Hz, 2,500 Hz, 3,150 Hz and 4,000 Hz is 40% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】低周波数〜中周波数の広い領域において、高い吸音性を有し、低目付でも吸音効果の高い、薄くて軽量な吸音材の提供。【解決手段】平均繊維径0.3〜7μm、目付け1〜40g/m2のメルトブロー極細繊維層を少なくとも1層含む不織布面材と、連続気泡樹脂発泡体層とを接合してなる複合吸音材であって、該複合吸音材の厚みが5〜50mm、目付けが50〜475g/m2未満であり、かつ、JIS−1405に準拠する垂直入射の測定法において該不織布面材側から入射する音の周波数1000Hz、1600Hz、2000Hz、2500Hz、3150Hz、及び4000Hzにおける該複合吸音材の吸音率がいずれも40%以上であることを特徴とする前記複合吸音材。【選択図】なし
