To reduce a sound generated when an exhaust valve is switched from a closed state to an open state.SOLUTION: When an exhaust valve is switched from a closed state to an open state, air of a high pressure existing around the exhaust valve is immediately exhausted to ambient air (of an ambient pressure), and in that case, a large sound is generated. It is considered that the large sound is generated when a difference between a pressure of air around the exhaust valve and an ambient pressure is large. When this exhaust valve opening time control program is executed therefor, a pressure of air around the exhaust valve is reduced before the exhaust valve is switch from a closed state to an open state. As a result, a sound, which is generated when the exhaust valve is switched from a closed state to an open state, can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
