To provide an auto light device capable of performing proper lighting control in accordance with its environment.SOLUTION: An auto light device 1 comprises: a camera 10 that takes an image of the periphery of a vehicle; a segmentation discriminator 13 that performs segmentation discrimination for the image taken by the camera 10; a lighting determination part 14 that determines the lighting or extinction of a light 12 mounted in the vehicle, on the basis of brightness of a sky area when the sky area is detected by the segmentation discriminator 13; and the light 12 that is turned on or put out on the basis of the result of determination by the lighting determination part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
