To provide a technique for achieving a reduction in adjustment man-hours when a sensor of an axle detection device is installed.SOLUTION: An axle detection device includes: an oscillation part 31 having a variable oscillation frequency; a gain adjustment part 32 capable of setting gain setting in a plurality of steps; a resonance capacitor 35 of fixed capacitance; a detection element 50 (a transmission detection element 51, a reception detection element 52) having a fixed installation mode to a track; a transmission side cable 53 and a reception side cable 54 of fixed length; and a calibration part 25 for sweeping the oscillation frequency of the oscillation part 31 and the gain setting of the gain adjustment part 32, and performing calibration of a transmission level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
