To alleviate properly a big shock generated at the time of rapid acceleration/deceleration and so on while alleviating a small shock generated at the time of shifting gears and so on.SOLUTION: The propeller damper (4) connecting the propeller shaft (2) with the propeller hub (3) is fixed on the propeller shaft, and has the inner cylinder (42) with the ribs (42e, 42f) protruding outward from the outer peripheral surface, and the outer cylinder (41) with the ribs (41c, 41d) formed so as to be coaxial with respect to the inner cylinder and protruding inward from the inner peripheral surface. The predetermined space (44) provided between the inner and outer cylinder is partitioned into a plurality of the rooms (44a-44d) by each other's rib and also filled by the viscous fluid. The propeller damper is composed of the rotary damper generating the transmission torque by flow resistance of the viscous fluid which flows into the expanding pressure chamber from one contracting pressure chamber during oscillation of the ribs by the relative rotation between the inner and outer cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
