To provide a composite power storage system capable of improving its safety by suppressing SOC of a battery, constituting a composite power storage, from being deviated.SOLUTION: The composite power storage system, including a first storage battery and a second storage battery, includes a configuration formed by connecting the first storage battery in parallel to the second storage battery. An open circuit voltage in a charging rate 100% of the first storage battery is at least a maximum value of a voltage which the second storage battery can reach and an open circuit voltage in a charging rate 0% of the first storage battery is at most a minimum value of a voltage which the second storage battery can reach.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
