To provide a shackle that can be held at a desired position of a chain sling CS without applying a load to the chain sling CS.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a shackle SH in which a substantially U-shaped shaft body 1 and a pair of ring parts 5 including insertion holes 6 into which a shackle pin 7 is inserted and which become coaxial with each other are formed integrally, and which holds a link 10 of a chain sling CS. The shaft body 1 has such a bent shape as to form: a pair of straight rods 2 facing each other with an interval B1 interposed therebetween in a length direction; a curved rod 3 in an arcuate shape connecting one end of the straight rod 2 in the length direction; and a pair of enlarging parts 4 continued to the other end of the straight rod 2 and enlarging the interval B1. The ring parts 5 are connected to the enlarging parts 4 and an interval B2 at which peripheries of the insertion holes 6 face each other is larger than the interval B1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
