To provide an open/close body control device capable of more reliably detecting abnormality of an electromagnetic clutch.SOLUTION: When it is determined that a sliding door is fixed by a latch mechanism (YES in step S1), a door ECU energizes an electromagnetic clutch (step S2), and then energizes a motor (step S3). Then, the door ECU determines whether or not a number of pulses P detected by a pulse sensor is equal to or larger than a threshold value P0 (step S4). If the number of pulses P is equal to or larger than the threshold value P0, the door ECU determines that an abnormality has occurred in the electromagnetic clutch (Step S6). On the other hand, if the number of pulses P is less than the threshold value P0, the door ECU determines that no malfunction has occurred in the electromagnetic clutch (step S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】電磁クラッチの異常をより確実に検出できる開閉体制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】ドアECUは、スライドドアがラッチ機構によって固定されている旨判定される場合(ステップS1のYES)、電磁クラッチに通電し(ステップS2)、その後モータに通電する(ステップS3)。そして、ドアECUは、パルスセンサにより検出されたパルス数Pが閾値P0以上であるか否かを判定し(ステップS4)、パルス数Pが閾値P0以上である場合、電磁クラッチに異常が発生している旨判定する(ステップS6)。これに対し、ドアECUは、パルス数Pが閾値P0未満である場合、電磁クラッチに異常が発生していない旨判定する(ステップS5)。【選択図】図4
