To provide a power-assisted bicycle that banns a wrong shift from a locked state where a rear wheel is restrained by a lock device to a running state and can surely prevent a spoke of the rear wheel from being damaged.SOLUTION: A rear wheel is configured to be driven by power supplied from a battery BT to an electric motor 21. A locking bar 32 reaches an unlocked position from a locked position in which the rear wheel is locked so as not to rotate. At this time, a movable contact point 632 is brought into contact with a switching member 33; therefore, an on/off switch 63 is turned to ON state and a switching circuit 6 is switched to bring a control circuit 5 to a power supply state. Consequently, power is supplied from the battery BT to the electric motor 21 and the electric motor 21 drives the rear wheel to allow a power-assisted bicycle to run.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】ロック装置により後側の車輪が拘束されたロック状態から走行状態への誤った移行を禁止して、当該車輪のスポーク部への損傷を確実に防止することができる電動機付き自転車を提供する。【解決手段】バッテリーBTから電気モータ21への給電により駆動する後側の車輪を回転不能に拘束する施錠位置から開錠位置に閂32が到達すると、切換部材33に可動接点632が当接してオン/オフスイッチ63がオン状態に切り換わり、切換回路6が制御回路5を給電状態とするように切り換わる。これによって、バッテリーBTから電気モータ21へ給電され、その給電量に応じて電気モータ21が後側の車輪を駆動して電動機付き自転車を走行させるようにしている。【選択図】図4
