To execute a proper handling upon a seizure signal abnormality while reducing the cost of an electric power system.SOLUTION: An electric power system comprises: a lead acid storage battery 11 parallely connected to a rotary electric machine 16 and a lithium ion storage battery 12; and a first switch SW1 provided on the side of the lead acid storage battery 11 relative to a node N1 with the rotary electric machine 16 in an electric path connecting between the storage batteries 11 and 12. A power supply controller 40 is activated in accordance with an input of a seizure signal from outside and controls opening and closing of the first switch SW1. The power supply controller 40 comprises: an abnormality determination unit that determines whether it is in a seizure signal abnormality status in which the seizure signal is not being normally input; and an abnormality operation unit that operates the first switch SW1 into a closed state when it is determined that it is in the seizure signal abnormality status.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
