To sustain the excellent steering wheel maneuverability of a vehicle despite a possibility that ice adhering to a fiber layer which improves the sound absorption characteristic of a mudguard may grow to make steering difficult.SOLUTION: A mudguard for vehicles 10 of the present invention includes a substrate 10A along a tread 12A of a tire 12, a pair of attachments 10B disposed at both ends of the substrate 10A, and nonwoven fabric layers 14 and 15 included in the substrate 10A. The nonwoven fabric layers 14 and 15 have a curved structure of being curved in a direction opposite to a direction in which the substrate 10A is curved. A clearance L1 between each of the nonwoven fabric layers 14 and 15 and the tread 12A is shorter than a clearance L2 between the substrate 10A and the tread 12A. Owing to the structure, ice or snow adhering to the mudguard is likely to come off, so that excellent steering wheel maneuverability of a vehicle can be sustained during traveling of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】従来では、マッドガードの吸音特性を向上させる繊維層に対して付着した氷が成長し、転舵し難くなる可能性もあり、車両の良好なハンドル操作性の状態を維持する対策が必要であった。【解決手段】本発明の車両用マッドガード10は、タイヤ12のトレッド面12Aに沿った基材部10Aと、基材部10Aの両端部に設けれた一対の取付部10Bと、基材部10Aに設けられた不織布層14、15と、を有している。不織布層14、15は、基材部10Aの湾曲方向とは逆方向に湾曲した湾曲構造であり、不織布層14、15とトレッド面12Aとの離間距離L1は、基材部10Aとトレッド面12Aとの離間距離L2よりも短い。この構造により、マッドガードに付着した氷や雪が離脱し易くなり、走行中において、車両のハンドル操作性の良好な状態が維持される。【選択図】図3
