To calculate a dynamic load radius of a tire accurately.SOLUTION: The calculation device is equipped with a rotary encoder for detecting the number of revolutions of a tire and a rotary encoder for detecting the number of revolutions of a drum. A rotation angle α of the drum per rotation of the tire is derived based on the signals from the respective encoders. Using the derived rotation angle α, the dynamic load radius R of the tire is calculated by the following formula (1). (In the formula, R is a dynamic load radius of a tire, and L is a mileage of tire per revolution of the tire.)SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
