To provide an electric vehicle charge mechanism which securely locks (connects) a charge connector to a charge unit, enabling easy confirmation thereof.SOLUTION: The charge mechanism includes: a lock mechanism 5 which transfers a charge connector 31 to a first state, in which the charge connector can be attached and detached to/from a socket 13 of an electric vehicle 2, and a second state, in which the omission of the charge connector from the socket is suppressed in an electric conduction state of the socket and the charge connector; and a displacement mechanism 6 which displaces the socket to a first posture in which, in the first state, the socket is oriented either in the horizontal direction or obliquely upward of the vehicle height direction than the horizontal direction, and a second posture in which, in the second state, the socket is oriented obliquely downward of the vehicle height direction than the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
