To provide an elevator inspection system that is able to avoid a situation in which a flying object that inspects a hoist way for an elevator comes into contact with apparatuses in the hoist way shaking due to an earthquake during inspection.SOLUTION: An elevator inspection system that inspects apparatuses in a hoist way for a stationary elevator, comprises: a flying object having an imaging device that captures an image of each apparatus by flying in the hoist way; and an earthquake occurrence determining section that, on the basis of the result of both or one of a comparison between each image captured by the imaging apparatus and a reference image and a comparison between an output value of an earthquake sensor and a threshold, determines whether an earthquake has been occurring or not. In a case where the earthquake occurrence determining section determines that an earthquake has been occurring, the flying object discontinues the inspection and moves to a predetermined place.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
