To provide a tire air pressure detection system which can acquire air pressure information from a detection device even when the detection device is positioned at a Null point.SOLUTION: A tire air pressure detection system includes: a plurality of transmission devices which transmit a request signal that requires air pressure information of a tire of a vehicle; a detection device which detects an air pressure of the tire according to the request signal and transmits a response signal including air pressure information; and an acquisition device which receives the response signal and acquires the air pressure information. Where there is abnormality in which the one transmission device transmits the request signal to the detection device, and thus the response signal to the request signal of the one transmission device is not received by the acquisition device, the other transmission device transmits a high output request signal with a higher output level than the request signal of the one transmission device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
