To solve the problem of a conventional electric automobile employing a permanent magnet synchronous motor that an efficiency of a basis velocity or more decreases by an increase in primary copper loss due to a field weakening control of the basis velocity, that an acceleration performance decreases because torque decreases in inverse proportion to a rise in velocity, and that there are a difficulty in the determination of torque component current for obtaining a required torque as motor torque is varied by field weakening current to make a controller complicated, but also a consequent difficulty in making the torque coincident with a command value.SOLUTION: This invention does not employ field weakening control of a basis velocity or more, but employs voltage control, and simultaneously performs torque control with torque/phase current ratio maximum control. As a result, an efficiency is improved over a full-speed range to improve acceleration performance. Since torque component current is adjusted automatically, a controller simplifies to make torque coincident with a command value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】永久磁石同期電動機を採用した従来の電気自動車では、基底速度以上の界磁弱め制御による一次銅損が増加することによって基底速度以上の効率が低下する問題があった。又、界磁弱め制御によって速度上昇に反比例してトルクが低下するために、加速性能が低下する問題があった。加えて、界磁弱め電流によってモータトルクが変化するために、要求トルクを得るためのトルク成分電流の決定が難しく制御装置が複雑になる問題があった。又、このためにトルクを指令値に一致させることが難しかった。【解決手段】本発明では、基底速度以上の界磁弱め制御を採用せず電圧制御で制御する。又、トルク制御とトルク/相電流比最大制御を同時に行なう。この結果、全速度範囲にて効率が改善され、加速性能が向上する。トルク制御によって、トルク成分電流が自動的に調整されるので、制御装置が簡単になりトルクは、指令値に一致する。【選択図】図1
