To enable a connection cylindrical body to stably move relative to an output shaft in an axial direction even in a state where rotational force is applied between the connection cylinder body and the output shaft of a clutch mechanism when connection of the clutch mechanism is released.SOLUTION: A clutch mechanism includes: a connection cylindrical body 460 configured to connect with a driving shaft from an axial direction or release the connection; and an output shaft 470 which is coaxially inserted into the connection cylindrical body 460 and connected with a position adjustment mechanism of a vehicle seat. Projections 473t extending in the axial direction are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the output shaft 470 of the clutch mechanism. Flat surfaces 460f with which the projections 473t respectively contact from a rotation direction are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the connection cylindrical body 460 of the clutch mechanism. The projections 473t and the flat surfaces 460t contact with each other from the rotation direction to hold the connection cylindrical body 460 and the output shaft 470 of the clutch mechanism so that the connection cylindrical body 460 and the output shaft 470 cannot rotate around an axis relative to each other and can move relative to each other in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13

    【課題】クラッチ機構を連結解除する際、そのクラッチ機構の連結筒体と出力軸間で回転力が加わっている状態であっても、連結筒体が出力軸に対して軸方向に安定的に移動できるようにすることである。【解決手段】クラッチ機構は、駆動軸に対して軸方向から連結、あるいは連結解除可能に構成された連結筒体460と、その連結筒体460に同軸に挿入されて、乗物用シートの位置調整機構に連結されている出力軸470とを備えており、クラッチ機構の出力軸470の外周面には、軸方向に延びる突条473tが形成されており、クラッチ機構の連結筒体460の内周面には、突条473tが回転方向から当接する平面460fが形成されており、突条473tと平面460fとが回転方向から当接することで、クラッチ機構の連結筒体460と出力軸470とが軸心回りに相対回転不能、軸心方向に相対移動可能に保持されている。【選択図】図13
