To provide a vehicular frame member that has a longitudinal direction extending in a front-back direction of a vehicle body and is formed in a closed cross sectional shape, which can improve EA mass efficiency with respect to a side collision.SOLUTION: The vehicular frame member, which has a longitudinal direction extending in a front-back direction of a vehicle body and is formed in a closed cross sectional shape, comprises: a first side wall; a second side wall provided inside in a vehicle width direction with respect to the first side wall; an upper wall and a lower wall defining a closed cross sectional structure together with the first side wall and the second side wall; an upper lateral rib and a lower lateral rib, provided between the upper wall and the lower wall, which connect the first side wall to the second side wall and extend linearly when viewed in the longitudinal direction; an upper vertical rib, arranged to oppose to the first side wall, which connects the upper wall to the upper lateral wall; and a lower vertical rib, arranged to oppose to the first side wall, which connects the lower wall to the lower lateral rib. The upper lateral rib and the lower lateral rib extend to be non-parallel to each other when viewed in the longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
