PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator radio communication system securing robustness of an entire elevator system by determining a state of a radio relay device.SOLUTION: An elevator radio communication system includes: a radio device 22 provided in a car 20 of an elevator; a plurality of radio relay devices 60 provided in a traveling direction of the car 20 and receiving signals transmitted from the radio device 22; a pulse generator 41 provided in a hoisting machine 40 for lifting/lowering the car 20; and a control section 30 that includes signal determination means for determining presence/absence or intensity of the signals received by the plurality of radio relay devices 60 from the radio device 22, car position calculation means for calculating the position of the car 20 on the basis of output from the pulse generator 41 and comparison means for comparing consistency between a determination result obtained by the signal determination means and a calculation result obtained by the car position calculation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
