PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a thin thickness part by thinning a thickness of a region in the vicinity of an angular part of an attachment hole, or a region in which the angular part of the attachment hole is formed more than the other region by forming the attachment hole which is opened at a roof trim for attaching an assist grip into a polygonal shape or a substantially-polygonal shape, to surely develop a curtain airbag by activating a stress concentration, and to make the assist grip surely remain at a vehicle body side even if the curtain airbag is deployed.SOLUTION: A curtain airbag 12 is expanded and deployed by a collision or the like of a vehicle side face of an automobile, at this time, a thin thickness part KB1 in the vicinity of an angular part below each attachment hole 2B and a boundary part KK with the other region are collapsed by a stress concentration, a roof trim 2 located at a lower part of the curtain airbag 12 is pressed to a center side (cabin direction) in a vehicle width direction by the expanded and deployed curtain airbag 12, and the curtain airbag is further expanded and deployed via a clearance between the roof trim 2 which is pressed to the cabin direction and a body side inner panel 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】各アシストグリップを取り付けるためにルーフトリムに開設した取付孔を多角形状又は概ね多角形状にして、前記取付孔の角部の近傍部位又は前記取付孔の角部を形成する部位を他の部位より厚さを薄くして薄肉部を形成し、応力集中を起こさせて、確実にカーテンエアバッグを展開させるようにし、且つ展開してもアシストグリップを車体側に確実に残すこと。【解決手段】自動車の車両の側面の衝突時などによって、カーテンエアバッグ12が膨張展開するが、その際各取付孔2Bの下の各角部の近傍の薄肉部KB1と他の部位との境界部KKが応力集中により破裂し、膨張展開した前記カーテンエアバッグ12によって、この前記カーテンエアバッグ12の下方に位置するルーフトリム2が車幅方向の中心側(車室方向)に押され、この車室方向に押された前記ルーフトリム2とボディサイドインナパネル4との間を介して更に膨張展開する。【選択図】図2
