PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card key for a vehicle, which enables wireless communication of a door-unlock signal requiring unlocking of a vehicle door, without being provided with a physical switch.SOLUTION: A card key for a vehicle, which performs first authentication using a key identifier between itself and an on-vehicle machine, comprises: an acceleration sensor; a detecting element that detects a card key rotating operation on the basis of output of the acceleration sensor; and a transmission part that transmits a door-unlock signal for requiring unlocking of a vehicle door to the on-vehicle machine so as to perform second authentication when the card key rotating operation is detected by the detecting element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
