PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize lead batteryless in a power supply system supplying power to a load using a secondary battery having a voltage of a primary power supply higher than 12 [V] such as 24 [V], 48 [V], 300 [V] and stepping down a voltage, for example, to 12 [V] using a step-down circuit.SOLUTION: The power supply system includes: a single or plurality of step-down circuits (DC/DC 14, 14-1, 14-2) for supplying power to a single or plurality of loads (12, 12-1, 12-2, 13) by stepping down an output of a secondary battery (10); and a power storage element (16) charged with the output of the step-down circuit. In a small current region or a transient current region of an output current, power is supplied from the storage element in place of the output of the step-down circuit to the loads (12, 12-1, 12-2, 13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
