PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle speed and position detection method capable of accurately detecting the travel running speed and the travel running position of a vehicle in an unmanned manner without using GPS data and also without using rotation pulse data of wheels.SOLUTION: A travel running speed and a travel running position detection method obtains a travel running speed and a travel running position of a vehicle 10 by integrating a longitudinal acceleration αx of the vehicle 10 which is an output of a six axial inertia sensor 20 mounted on the railway vehicle 10. At this time, vertical gradient information of the vehicle 10 is obtained from a pitch angular speed ωpit of the vehicle 10. In this way, an error by an orbital gradient P is eliminated from the longitudinal acceleration αx. The pitch angular speed ωpit is applied with a yow angular speed ωyaw, a roll angular speed ωroll, and a roll angle θroll of the vehicle 10 obtained by integrating this roll angle ωroll. The stop duration of the vehicle 10 at a station is also detected from the longitudinal acceleration αx of the vehicle 10, and the errors accumulated by the integration are eliminated at the stop duration of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 GPSデータを使用することなく、また車輪の回転パルスデータを用いることなく、車両の走行速度及び走行位置を無人で正確に検出できる車両速度・位置検出方法を提供する。【解決手段】 鉄道車両10に搭載された6軸慣性センサ20の出力である車両10の前後方向加速度αx を積分して、車両10の走行速度及び走行位置を求める。その際、車両10のピッチ角速度ωpit から車両10の縦勾配情報を求め、これにより、軌道勾配Pによる誤差を前後方向加速度αx から取り除く。前記ピッチ角速度ωpit に対しては、車両10のヨー角速度ωyaw 、ロール角速度ωroll及びこれを積分して求めたロール角θrollによる補正を加える。車両10が駅に停車する車両停車期間についても、車両10の前後方向加速度αx から検出し、積分により蓄積された誤差を停車時に取り除く。【選択図】 図1
