PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal controller, a method, and a program for suppressing that priority control in consideration of left-turn vehicles is unnecessarily performed.SOLUTION: A traffic signal control system for performing priority control for extending or shortening signal display time is provided with: a determination unit which performs first determination for acquiring position information and speed information of a preceding vehicle existing within a predetermined range from an intersection, and preceding vehicle outflow destination information capable of specifying an outflow direction of the preceding vehicle at the intersection to determine whether or not the preceding vehicle exists on an inflow passage of the intersection in which a public vehicle flows on the basis of the acquired position information, second determination for determining whether or not speed of the preceding vehicle is a predetermined value or less on the basis of the speed information, and third determination for determining whether or not the preceding vehicle is a left-turn vehicle for turning left at the intersection on the basis of the preceding vehicle outflow destination information; and a control unit which performs the priority control on condition that all determination results of the first to third determination by the determination unit are affirmative.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】左折車両を考慮した優先制御が不必要に行われるのを抑制する交通信号制御装置、方法及びプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】信号表示時間を延長又は短縮する優先制御を行う交通信号制御システムであって、交差点から所定範囲内に存在する先行車両の位置情報及び速度情報と、先行車両の交差点での流出方向を特定可能な先行車両流出先情報とを取得し、取得した位置情報に基づいて前記公共車両が流入する前記交差点の流入路に先行車両が存在するか否かを判定する第1判定、速度情報に基づいて先行車両の速度が所定値以下であるか否かを判定する第2判定及び先行車両流出先情報に基づいて先行車両が交差点を左折する左折車両であるか否かを判定する第3判定を行う判定部と、判定部による第1〜第3判定の判定結果が全て肯定的であることを条件として、優先制御を行う制御部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
