To make compatible both the suppression of an amount of fuel which is consumed in order to reduce NOx occluded in an NSR catalyst, and the suppression of the deterioration of an exhaust component caused by the flow-out of unreacted fuel from the NSR catalyst.SOLUTION: In the case that an SOC of a battery is not smaller than a prescribed charge amount when a prescribed NOx reduction execution condition is established, when a NOx reduction execution part performs NOx reduction processing, a control part decelerates an engine rotation speed of an internal combustion engine, or stops an operation of the internal combustion engine, and controls an electric motor in order to compensate for required torque. On the other hand, in the case that the SOC of the battery is smaller than the prescribed charge amount when the prescribed NOx reduction execution condition is established, the NOx reduction execution part performs the NOx reduction processing while the control part maintains an operation state of the internal combustion engine at a normal operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】ハイブリッド車において、NSR触媒に吸蔵されたNOxを還元するために消費される燃料の量の抑制と、未反応燃料が該NSR触媒から流出してしまうことによる排気成分の悪化の抑制とを両立する。【解決手段】所定のNOx還元実行条件が成立した時にバッテリのSOCが所定充電量以上の場合は、NOx還元実行部がNOx還元処理を実行する際に、制御部が、内燃機関の機関回転速度を低減させるかまたは内燃機関の運転を停止させるとともに、要求トルクを補償すべく電動モータを制御する。一方、所定のNOx還元実行条件が成立した時にバッテリのSOCが所定充電量より少ない場合は、制御部が、内燃機関の運転状態を通常運転に維持しつつ、NOx還元実行部がNOx還元処理を実行する。【選択図】図3
