To provide a rear confirmation system for a vehicle, which enables the getting-off side rear of the vehicle to be visually recognized by an occupant sitting on a rear seat.SOLUTION: In a system for driving door mirrors provided for doors 4 and 7 of front seats 3 and 6 of a vehicle 2, getting-off preparation operation of the vehicle 2 is detected so that mirror surfaces 23R and 23L of the door mirrors can be directed to enable the getting-off side rear of the vehicle 2 to be visually recognized by occupants 14 and 16 sitting on rear seats 8 and 9 of the vehicle 2. Thus, since the occupants 14 and 16 can visually recognize the getting-off side rear of the vehicle 2 before getting off the vehicle, safety during getting-off operation is secured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
