PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator for falling accident prevention which has a structure as to contribute improvement of safety of a user.SOLUTION: An escalator 1 for falling accident prevention includes: a footstep 4 which moves from one entrance floor plate to the other entrance floor plate, and transports a user; and a handrail belt 5 which synchronizes with the footstep 4 and move, where a printing sheet 6 having a plurality of direction indication marks 6A that display its movement direction and become marks obtaining timing at which the user changes to the escalator 1 is stuck onto a surface of the handrail belt 5, and display sheets Sa and Sb having a slightly shorter length than lengths m and n of a plurality of floor plates 2aa and 2aaa constituting the entrance floor plate are stuck onto the surface of the entrance port floor plate to preform a guide display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】利用者の安全性向上に寄与する構成とした転倒事故防止形エスカレーターを提供する。【解決手段】一方と他方の乗降口床板の間で移動して利用者を輸送する踏段4と、この踏段4と同期して移動する手摺ベルト5とを備えた転倒事故防止形エスカレーター1において、前記手摺ベルト5の表面にはその移動方向を表示して前記エスカレーター1に乗り移る際のタイミングを図る目印となる方向表示マーク6Aを複数個有する印刷シート6を貼り付け、さらに前記乗降口床板の表面に前記乗降口床板を構成する複数の床板2aa、2aaaの長さm、nよりも少し短い長さの表示シートSa、Sbを貼り付けることで案内表示を行う。【選択図】図5
