PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic lane movement support device capable of appropriate movement between traffic lanes in accordance with the current conditions or supporting it.SOLUTION: A threshold value setting unit 15 separately sets a threshold value for determining whether movement between traffic lanes is possible in relation to another vehicle in accordance with whether there is restriction on distance or time until the movement between traffic lanes is completed. A first traffic lane movement execution determination threshold value that is set when there is restriction until completion of movement between traffic lanes has a relationship of being equal to or smaller than a second traffic lane movement execution determination threshold value that is set when there is no such restriction. Thus, when there is restriction on the distance or the time until movement between traffic lanes is completed, movement between traffic lanes can be started even if a distance between an own vehicle and the other vehicle is short.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】時々の状況に適切に対応した車線移動、またはその支援を行うことが可能な車線移動支援装置を提供すること。【解決手段】閾値設定部15は、車線移動を完了するまでの距離や時間に制約があるか否かに応じて、他車両との関係において車線移動可能かどうかを判断するための閾値をそれぞれ個別に設定する。車線移動完了までに制約がある場合に設定される第1車線移動実行判定閾値は、そのような制約がない場合に設定される第2車線移動実行判定閾値以下となる関係を有する。従って、車線移動を完了するまでの距離や時間に制約がある場合には、多少、自車両と他車両との距離的な関係が短くとも、車線移動を開始することが可能になる。【選択図】図1
