PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odor monitoring system that can comprehensively monitor, in a train in which an air conditioner is installed, strength in combination of an odor originating from the air conditioner and odors originating from factors other than the air conditioner by using the minimum number of sensors.SOLUTION: An odor monitoring system is provided on the lee side of an air outlet 2b of an air conditioner 10, and comprises a sensor 30 detecting an amount of volatile organic compound within the air blown from the air outlet 2b, and a display 40 displaying a detection result from the sensor 30. The air conditioner 10 is installed on the roof of a railway car 1, and the air outlet 2b is formed on a ceiling 2 of the railway car 1. The sensor 30 is disposed in an air duct between a car interior outlet 3b and the air outlet 2b which are formed on a decorative panel 3 on the lower side of the ceiling 2. Also, the sensor 30 is provided in each multiple railway cars 1 that composes one train. The display 40 displays detection results from the sensors 30 and information that specifies which railway cars 1 on which each of the sensors 30 is provided are out of the multiple railway cars 1 that composes a train.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】空気調和装置が設置された列車において、空気調和装置由来の臭気と空気調和装置以外の要因に由来する臭気を合わせた強さを、最小限のセンサで総合的に監視可能な臭気監視システムを提供する。【解決手段】臭気監視システムは、空気調和装置10の吹出口2bの風下に設けられ、吹出口2bから吹き出された空気中の揮発性有機化合物量を検出するセンサ30と、センサ30の検出結果を表示する表示部40と、を備える。空気調和装置10は車両1の屋根上に設置され、吹出口2bは車両1の天井2に形成される。センサ30は、天井2下方の化粧パネル3に形成された車内吹出口3bと吹出口2bとの間の風路中に配置されるとともに、1つの列車をなす複数の車両1のそれぞれに設けられる。表示部40は、複数のセンサ30の検出結果と、各センサ30が設けられた車両1が列車をなす複数の車両1のうちのどれであるかを特定する情報とを表示する。【選択図】図6
