PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying facility in which an article conveying vehicle mitigates an impact applied to an article when the vehicle travels in a parting area.SOLUTION: An article conveying vehicle traveling on a travel rail 2 along a travel route comprises: a conveying vehicle body 14; a first travel wheel 15R rolling on a first rail part 2R; a second travel wheel 15L rolling on a second rail part 2L; a contact wheel 19 contacting with an auxiliary rail 7 in a path width direction Y; a support body 20 supporting rotatably the contact wheel 19; a support part 23 supporting the support body 20; and a drive part making the support part 23 move in the path width direction Y. The drive part makes the support part 23 move between a first position where the contact wheel 19 contacts with the auxiliary rail 7 in a first direction Y1 and a second position where the contact wheel 19 contacts with the auxiliary rail 7 in a second direction Y2, and the support part 23 supports the support body 20 in an energized condition from both sides in the path width direction Y, by means of a first energizing body 21 that energizes the support body 20 in the second direction Y2 and a second energizing body 22 that energizes the support body 20 in the first direction Y1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
