PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle drive system which can change operation contents for an operator from an affirmative assignment to a negative one or vice versa and can be introduced into an existing railway vehicle system at a low cost.SOLUTION: This railway vehicle drive system comprises a main controller (20) which outputs an operation command signal in response to an operation, a drive control part (40, 51, 52) which controls driving including at least one of power running and braking of the railway vehicle based on the operation command signal, an authentication part (60) to authenticate the operator, and a command processing part (30) which intervenes between the main controller and the drive control part, replaces the operation command signal outputted by the main controller with a passing signal, a disconnection signal or another operation command signal in response to the authentication result of the authentication part and sends the replaced signal to the drive control part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】操作者ごと運転内容の可否を切り替えることができ、かつ、既存の鉄道車両に低いコストで導入できる鉄道車両駆動システムを提供する。【解決手段】この鉄道車両駆動システムは、運転操作に応じて運転指令信号を出力する主幹制御器(20)と、運転指令信号に基づいて少なくとも鉄道車両の力行及び制動を含む駆動制御を行う駆動制御部(40、51、52)と、操作者の認証を行う認証部(60)と、主幹制御器と駆動制御部との間に介在し、主幹制御器から出力された運転指令信号を、認証部の認証結果に応じて通過、遮断又は別の運転指令信号へ差し替えて駆動制御部へ送る指令加工部(30)とを備える。【選択図】図1
