PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bellows part from being crushed when forming a female serration part by broach processing.SOLUTION: With a step-off surface 23 of a raw material 24 butted against a bearing surface 30, a broach 31 is inserted into an inner diameter side of a small-diameter tube part 27 formed at a single end of the raw material 24 in the axial direction from a single opening of a raw material 24 in the axial direction. The broach 31 is displaced toward the other side in the axial direction, an inner-peripheral surface of the small-diameter tube part 27 is cut from the single side in the axial direction toward the other side in the axial direction, and a female serration part 16 is formed at the inner-peripheral surface of the small-diameter tube part 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】雌セレーション部をブローチ加工により形成する際に、ベローズ部が潰れるのを防止する。【解決手段】素材24の段差面23を支承面30に突き当てた状態で、素材24の軸方向片端部に設けられた小径筒部27の内径側にブローチ31を、素材24の軸方向片側開口から挿入する。そして、ブローチ31を軸方向他側に向けて変位させ、小径筒部27の内周面を軸方向片側から軸方向他側に向けて切削し、小径筒部27の内周面に雌セレーション部16を形成する。【選択図】図4
