PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which adequate review and countermeasure are not carried out to escape from an emergency automobile in an automatic operation mode.SOLUTION: In a driving operation support device, when an emergency vehicle is detected during running in an automatic driving mode, a driver state determination part determines that a driver state cannot cope with a manual driving mode, and when a preceding vehicle exists in front of a vehicle, a control part makes the vehicle follow an escape action of the preceding vehicle to allow the emergency vehicle to pass by.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
