PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively protect a hoist machine from water dripping from an upper portion in a hoistway and water passing along a main rope.SOLUTION: A machine-roomless elevator having no machine room includes a car 10 moving up and down in a hoistway, a hoist machine 20 arranged at a position at least higher than a landing floor surface of a lowest floor in the hoistway, a balance weight 14 moving up and down as the car 10 is moved up and down, a control device arranged at least at a position higher than the landing floor surface of the lowest floor in the hoistway, and a deflector sheave including a pair of lower deflector sheaves 34, 35 positioned at a lower part and a pair of upper deflector sheaves 33, 37 positioned at an upper part in the hoistway. The lower deflector sheaves 34, 35 are arranged at a lower part of the hoist machine 20 so that a main rope 26 is wound on a main sheave of the hoist machine from below.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】昇降路内で上から落ちてくる水および主ロープを伝わってくる水に対して、巻上機を効果的に防護する。【解決手段】本発明の実施形態による機械室を有しないマシンルームレスエレベータは、昇降路を昇降する乗りかご10と、昇降路に少なくとも最下階の乗場床面よりも高い位置に配置される巻上機20と、乗りかご10の昇降に対応して昇降する釣合錘14と、昇降路内で少なくとも最下階の乗場床面よりも高い位置に配置される制御装置と、昇降路内で下位に位置する一対の下部そらせシーブ34、35と上位に位置する一対の上部そらせシーブ33、37とからなる、そらせシーブと、を備えている。巻上機20の下方に下部そらせシーブ34、35を配置し、巻上機のメインシーブに下方から主ロープ26を巻き掛けるようにした。【選択図】図1
