PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the impact of a sonic wave on the periphery of an output device, in a positional information management system for managing the positional information of a terminal acquiring the sonic wave outputted from the output device.SOLUTION: The output device of a positional information management system has a sonic wave collection unit for collecting the sonic waves on the periphery of the output device, a sonic wave analysis unit for analyzing the frequency and the level of sonic waves on the periphery of the inaudible sound area of higher frequency than a prescribed frequency, by using the peripheral sonic waves collected by the sonic wave collection unit, an inaudible sound output unit for outputting sonic waves containing first identification information, corresponding to the position where the output device is installed out of the inaudible sound area, based on the analysis results of the sonic wave analysis unit, to an available frequency band where the level of the peripheral sonic waves is less than a threshold level, and an output control unit for transmitting status information, indicating that the inaudible sound area is not available for outputting the sonic waves containing the first identification information, when there is no available frequency band.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】出力装置が出力する音波を取得する端末装置の位置情報を管理する位置情報管理システムにおいて、出力装置の周辺における音波の影響を低減させる。【解決手段】位置情報管理システムの出力装置は、出力装置の周辺の音波を収集する音波収集部と、音波収集部が収集した前記周辺の音波を用いて、所定の周波数より周波数が高い非可聴音領域における周辺の音波の周波数及びレベルを解析する音波解析部と、音波解析部の解析結果に基づいて、非可聴音領域のうち、周辺の音波のレベルがしきい値未満である利用可能な周波数帯域に、出力装置が設置された位置に対応する第1の識別情報を含む音波を出力する非可聴音出力部と、利用可能な周波数帯域がない場合、非可聴音領域が第1の識別情報を含む音波の出力に利用可能でないことを示す状態情報を情報処理装置に送信する出力制御部と、を有する。【選択図】図9
