PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder manufacturing device and a ladder manufacturing method that are able to realize high productivity as well as a compact design.SOLUTION: A ladder manufacturing device comprises: a feed mechanism 2 that longitudinally moves a temporarily assembled ladder KW formed by temporarily fitting a pair of opposite side plates WAL, WAU and a plurality of square bars WB arranged between the side plates; a welding part 3 disposed on a moving line; a positioning clamp mechanism that holds square bars of the temporarily assembled ladder in a welding position; and a pressing mechanism 6 that fixes the temporarily assembled ladder, with the square bars held. In the welding part, two pairs of lower welding torches and a pair of upper welding torches 32 are arranged, the lower welding torches being configured such that each square bar whose one end is inserted into a square hole of the lower side plate WAL is welded to the lower side plate WAL from the inward surface side thereof and from both main surface and second surface sides of the temporarily assembled ladder, and the upper welding torches being configured such that each square bar whose one end is inserted into a square hole of the upper side plate is welded to the upper side plate from the outward surface side thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】高い生産性を実現したうえで、コンパクト化をも実現することが可能である梯子製造装置及び梯子製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】互いに対向する一対の側板WAL,WAUと、側板間に複数配置される角材WBとを仮付けして成る仮組梯子KWを長手方向に移動させる送り機構2と、移動ライン上に配置された溶接部3と、仮組梯子の角材を溶接位置で保持する位置決めクランプ機構と、角材の保持が成された状態で仮組梯子を固定する押さえ機構6を備え、溶接部には、下方の側板WALの角孔に一端部を挿入した角材を下方の側板WALに対してその内向き面側で且つ仮組梯子の表裏両側から溶接する2組の下側溶接トーチと、上方の側板の角孔に一端部を挿入した角材を上方の側板に対してその外向き面側から溶接する1組の上側溶接トーチ32が配置されている。【選択図】図2
