PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method capable of evaluating bonding strength with silica of rubber composition.SOLUTION: The method capable of evaluating bonding strength with silica of rubber composition includes: a test piece preparing step in which a test piece of a composition of glass and the rubber adhered each other is prepared by vulcanizing and bonding the glass and the unvulcanized rubber composition; a breaking step in which the adhesive interface is broken by applying a tensile force to the test piece in a direction perpendicular to the adhesion interface of the glass and the rubber composition in the test piece; and an evaluation step in which the bond strength of the rubber composition with silica is evaluated on the basis of the tensile strength when the adhesive interface breaks.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
