PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backstop device capable of improving a detection accuracy as well as simplifying its structure.SOLUTION: The device has an outer tube 2 of which one end is opened, an inner tube 3 inserted into one end of the outer tube 2 slidably, and a spring 4 disposed between the outer tube 2 and the inner tube 3 along a shaft direction. In the outer tube 2, a slot 2a is formed along its shaft direction, and a protruding member 5 is situated in the slot 2a protruding from the inner tube 3 in its shaft direction. In the outer tube 2, a limit switch 8 is arranged for detecting an angle of a tower (an undulation member) by detecting a position of the protruding member 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
