PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drowse prevention device that prevents drowse of an occupant seated on a vehicle seat, the drowse prevention device being able to shorten time taken for the occupant to become awake.SOLUTION: A drowse prevention device 1 has: a stimulating part 10 disposed in a head rest 33 of a seat 30; and a control device 50 that controls actuation of a Peltier element 17 of the stimulating part 10. The stimulating part 10 has, in the head rest part 33: a contact part 11 disposed so as to allow contact with an occupant P seated on the seat 30; and the Peltier element 17 as a heat source for changing a temperature of the contact part 11. In a case where it is determined in a drowse danger determination process that there is a danger of drowse of the occupant P, the actuation of the Peltier element 17 is controlled in order to give a temperature stimulus by bringing the contact part 11 into contact with the occupant P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両のシートに着座している乗員の居眠りを防止する居眠り防止装置に関し、乗員の覚醒までに要する時間を短縮可能な居眠り防止装置を提供する。【解決手段】居眠り防止装置1は、シート30のヘッドレスト部33内に配置された刺激付与部10と、刺激付与部10のペルチェ素子17の作動を制御する制御装置50とを有している。刺激付与部10は、ヘッドレスト部33において、シート30に座った乗員Pに接触可能に配置された接触部11と、接触部11の温度を変更させる熱源としてのペルチェ素子17を有している。居眠り危険度判定処理で乗員Pの居眠りの危険性があると判定された場合、接触部11を乗員Pに接触させて温度刺激を付与する為に、ペルチェ素子17の作動を制御する。【選択図】図1
