PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad signal cover capable of avoiding a state in which it becomes hard to view what one of two kinds of signal indicates owing to a difference in lightness between the signals when an electric bulb type signal and an LED type signal are arranged side by side along a railroad wayside, and a railroad signal device using the same.SOLUTION: A railroad signal cover comprises: a translucent plate with a dimming function and a diffusing function which is arranged in front of a light emission part body case in which a circuit board mounted with a plurality of LED elements is built to cover the circuit board; and a lens which is arranged in front of the translucent plate. Further, the translucent plate is constituted by joining together a diffusion plate and a dimming plate having a plurality of translucent dot patterns formed on the front and back in a predetermined array, and arranged on the side where the dimming plate is opposed to the LED elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】鉄道沿線に電球式信号機とLED式信号機が並んで配設されている状況において、2種類の信号機の明るさの差によって一方の信号機の現示が視認しにくくなるのを回避することができる鉄道用信号機カバーおよびそれを用いた鉄道用信号機を実現する。【解決手段】複数のLED素子が実装された回路基板を内蔵した発光部本体ケースの前方に、回路基板を覆う状態で配設される調光機能および拡散機能を有する透光性プレートと、透光性プレートの前方に配設されるレンズとを備えるようにした。さらに、前記透光性プレートは、拡散板と、前面および背面に半透明な複数のドットパターンが所定の配列で形成された調光板と、が接合されてなり、前記調光板が前記LED素子と対向する側に配設されるようにした。【選択図】図2
