PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of precisely determining that a target relevant to target data is an upper target.SOLUTION: In a radar system 1, a target data deriving section 71 derives target data relevant to a target on the basis of a received signal which is acquired by receiving a reflection wave RW from the target at every fixed time. An upper target determination section 72c determines the target as an upper object when the target data is relevant to a newly appeared stationary target and another vehicle exists within given distance in front of the target. With this, the target relevant to the newly appeared target data is capable of precisely determined as the upper object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】物標データに係る物標が上方物であることを高精度に判定する。【解決手段】レーダ装置1では、物標データ導出部71が、物標からの反射波RWを受信して得られる受信信号に基づいて物標に係る物標データを一定時間ごとに導出する。上方物判定部72cは物標データが新規に表れた静止物であり、該物標の前方の所定距離以内に他車両が存在する場合は、該物標は上方物であると判定する。これにより、新規に表れた物標データに係る物標が上方物であると高精度に判定できる。【選択図】図2
