PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-balancing scooter with a foldable footrest for an additional rider that is configured to perform stable running without generating excessive loads on rotation force of the self-balancing scooter for one rider, even in a situation where there is an additional rider, causing overall loads to increase.SOLUTION: A balancing scooter is provided with a housing 10, and inside the housing 10 is installed a controller which controls running and switching of directions and to both sides of which are attached motors, where wheels 31 are mounted on the shafts of the motors respectively. A battery is mounted on a bottom surface of the housing 10. A boarding plate 14 is attached to an upper part of the housing 10 so that a main rider can put the feet thereon, and a foldable footrest 40 for an additional rider to put the feet thereon is mounted on a side wall of the boarding plate 14. Casters 60 are attached to one side of the footrest and a fitting hole is formed on the other side thereof. To the fitting hole is assembled a bracket 50 having an assembling hole formed on the upper part thereof through a rotation shaft, which allows the bracket 50 to be mounted on the side wall of the boarding plate 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】追加搭乗者がある場合、全体的な荷重が増える状況でも、一人向け平衡型スクーターの回転力に過負荷が生じなく、安定的な走行が行えるようにした追加搭乗式足載せ台折り畳み型自己平衡型スクーターを提供する。【解決手段】ハウジング10が設けられ、ハウジング10の内部には走行及び方向の切り換えを司るコントローラーが装着され、その両側にはモーターが装着され、モーターの軸には車輪31がそれぞれ装着され、ハウジング10の底面にはバッテリが装着され、ハウジング10の上部には主搭乗者が足を載せられるように搭乗板14が装着され、搭乗板14の側壁には追加搭乗者が足を載せる折り畳み式足載せ台40が取り付けられるが、その一方の側にはキャスター60が装着され、他方の側には嵌合孔が形成され、嵌合孔には上部に組付孔が形成されたブラケット50が回転軸を介して組み付けられて、ブラケット50が搭乗板14の側壁に取り付けられる。【選択図】図4
