PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge/discharge system capable of starting or stopping a charge/discharge operation without moving from an attaching/detaching position when a cable is attached/detached.SOLUTION: A charge/discharge system 100 comprises: an electric vehicle power conditioner 1; a battery 22 which is mounted on an electric vehicle 2 and is connected to a cable receptacle 20; and a cable 3 for connecting the electric vehicle power conditioner 1 and the electric vehicle 2. A cable connector 4 connected to the cable receptacle 20 is arranged at the tip of the cable 3. The cable connector 4 comprises a connection release switch 40 for opening mechanical connection with the battery 22 and a control switch 41 for performing setting required for controlling charging and discharging with the battery 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
