PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear unit of which size can be made compact in respect to its radial direction.SOLUTION: A first planetary cover and a second planetary cover are integrally connected through utilization of a planetary cover side fastening hole and an internal gear side fastening hole under a state in which it is held by the first and second planetary covers to form a peripheral wall of a planetary case. The first planetary cover is provided with an installing hole in regard to a peripheral direction between the adjoining planetary cover side fastening holes, the first and second planetary covers and the internal gear integrally connected can be installed at a fixing member through utilization of the installing hole. The internal gear shows that an outer peripheral surface of a region corresponding to the installing hole in respect to the peripheral direction is recessed more inward in a radial direction as compared with an outer peripheral surface in the region where an internal gear side fastening hole is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】径方向に関し小型化を図り得る遊星ギヤユニットを提供する。【解決手段】インターナルギヤが遊星ケースの周壁を形成するように第1及び第2遊星カバーによって挟まれた状態で、遊星カバー側締結孔及びインターナルギヤ側締結孔を利用して一体的に連結されている。第1遊星カバーには周方向に関し隣接する前記遊星カバー側締結孔の間に装着孔が設けられ、一体的に連結された状態の第1及び第2遊星カバー並びにインターナルギヤが装着孔を利用して固定部材に装着可能とされている。インターナルギヤは、周方向に関し装着孔に対応した領域の外周面がインターナルギヤ側締結孔が形成された領域の外周面に比して径方向内方へ凹まされている。【選択図】図5
