PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a traffic signal tower that a long, high support column configuration is inconvenient for handling, storage, and the like, and it tends to be in an unstable posture under a condition of strong wind and the like and also, in a form of a simple signboard, it is difficult to see through a driver's seat such as an automobile.SOLUTION: A road traffic signal tower is comprised by that: a support frame 5 having a pair of left and right poles 2 and 2; and a signal frame 8 provided with a signal box 7 for arrangement in which a signal lamp 9 extending between upper end portions of elevation posts 6, 6 is vertically and slidably fitted and guided with respect to the left and right poles 2 and 2; racks 11, 11 are formed in the elevation posts 6, 6 on left and right sides of the signal frame 8 in a vertical direction; sprockets 13, 13 provided on both end portions of a sprocket shaft 12 axially equipped are engaged with the racks 11, 11 on the support frame 5; and the sprockets are rotated by a handle 14 so that the signal frame 8 can be raised and lowered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 交通信号塔において,長く,高い支柱を使う形態は,取扱い,格納等で不便であり,強風等の条件では不安定姿勢となり易い。又,簡易標識板形態では,自動車等の運転座席からは透視し難いことが多い。【解決手段】 左右一対の支柱2,2を有した支持フレーム5と,前記左右の支柱2,2に対して上下摺動可能に嵌合案内する昇降支柱6,6の上端部間に亘って信号ランプ9を配設の信号ボックス7を設けた信号フレーム8とから成り,前記信号フレーム8の左右両側の昇降支柱6,6部に上下方向に亘ってラック11,11を構成し,前記支持フレーム5に軸装のスプロケット軸12の両端部に設けるスプロケット13,13を,前記ラック11,11に噛み合わせて,ハンドル14で回動操作して,前記信号フレーム8を昇降可能に構成する道路交通信号塔。【選択図】図1
